Climate Camp Films

'Climate Camp Uncovered'
at the Ritzy Cinema, Brixton.

Bank Holiday Monday 31st August, 2.00 – 3.30Pm

Climate Camp is very pleased to announce the one-off screening of ‘Climate Camp uncovered’ – a series of short films hot off the reel from this years camp. Film makers from Climate Camp TV, Vision TV, Undercurrents and others will be working together to bring the latest red hot, rough and ready footage from the camp to the big screen, that will reveal all aspects of camp life.

Shot exclusively during the CURRENT London Climate Camp for Action this film will bring you right up to date with action from the camp that's HAPPENING NOW, from the camper’s perspective, and is a unique opportunity for the people of London to see what is really happening underneath the glare of the police searchlights.

There will also be a question and answer session after each short film, where the audience will
be able to ask campers and film makers questions about their motives and camp life. A film crew spokesman said, “Every filmmaker at the camp will be collaborating to make this film a contemporary news real with a unique voice. We all know how important it is to record events as they truly happen and we will be at the fore-front of the swoop and every other major action, as well as seeking to provide an insight into camp life, some of the personalities behind the protest, and the beauty and effectiveness of organising together to stop climate change.”

This year more than 3000 people will be attending the camp and this screening is your chance to see for yourself whether it is a concerned, peaceful and yet determined movement of people at Climate Camp, or the radical extremists that we are often portrayed to be.

If you would like to see a different world in action come to this one-off public screening of 'Climate Camp Uncovered,' and become part of a simple group of people acting together to try to develop a better society and a better way of life.
